The tuile templates were purchased as a gift for my Mum. We’re both keen bakers, and had heard a lot about tuile biscuits but were surprised at the lack of places to purchase templates online. I was glad to come across your great website, which was exactly what we were looking for. The template has been very useful in helping us to experiment with tuile biscuits. So far we’ve only used the basic recipe, but there’s great potential to try new recipes and different flavours in the future. The template was used to great effect at a recent dinner party – they helped lift the dish to the next level, and looked exactly as we hoped it would. I was very happy with the speedy service we received from the website, and would recommend to anyone.

Hi my name is Robert Beeley and I would like to offer my review of your product. I often cook at home for friends and family, also as a chef I am fully aware that tuiles, whether sweet or savoury can elevate a dish from something good to something a bit special. I've always tried to made my own moulds out of bits of plastic, but had issues with them being inconsistent size and either too thin or too thick, but the moulds from tuiles.co.uk are perfectly cut for even cooking. For example I used the tuiles on my most recent trio of desserts, filled it with honeycomb Etonian mess because I had the right size and shape the taste and texture effects were staggering.

I run a small cookery school here in South Wales The Culinary Cottage I have already put the templates purchased to very good use, the students get very excited at producing such a professional finish, we have used for both sweet and savoury and moulded the resulting tulle in various ways, the students are encouraged to be creative and they all love using them, I am delighted with each of the templates and will be adding to them in the very near future.
